This light weight lathe kit is perfect for hobby or small batch production when there is no need, or budget, to invest in a separate standalone CNC lathe.
To program the module is easy with ConstruCAM which is a complimentary CAD/CAM program for our machines. It is also possible to run the lathe via Vectric VCarve Pro.
The kit has everything you need to start working:
- 1200W motor from Würth - 2.3 Kg, double bearings, 900-2700 rpm, High-power with two stage gear reduction. This motor brings torque that you normally only get from much larger motors.
- Tail stock with rotating tip and 50 mm stroke.
- 3-jaw chuck
- Reinforced T-slot plate - 730 mm
- 14 T-slot nuts
- One specialty cutting tool - Ø 6 mm shank and 32 mm cutting edge
